Explain your own contribution to a team project.
Assessment evidence
Much workplace activity is collaborative. A completed project may demonstrate what a team achieved while leaving an assessor uncertain about the contribution of one person. The useful next step is to explain your role with specific examples.
Describe the tasks you completed, the decisions you made and the parts carried out by colleagues. If you supervised or coordinated the work, explain what that involved rather than suggesting you performed every technical activity yourself.
Connect your account to the available records, following the provider’s evidence guidance. A document may need context about its date, purpose and authorship. Ask before sharing confidential information or material owned by an employer.
Be clear about the limits of your contribution. An accurate account gives the assessor a better basis for further questions than a broad claim about the whole project. The provider may still need additional evidence or other assessment activities to understand the relevant capability.
